• 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 c molasses
  • 2 T all-purpose flour
  • 2 T melted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c halved pecans
  • Maple Whipped cream (for serving – see recipe below)
  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Beat eggs in a bowl. Add maple syrup, molasses, flour, butter, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add pecans and stir until nuts are coated with filling.
  4. Pour into pie crust and place on the middle rack of the oven. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until crust is brown and the middle of the pie has puffed up (really, it’s supposed to look like that!)
  5. Serve warm with Maple Whipped Cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon!
Maple Whipped Cream:
  •     1 pint heavy whipping cream
  •     2 T pure maple syrup
  •     1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Put all ingredients into the bowl of a stand mixer (or you can use a hand mixer). Beat on high speed until peaks form.

Here is one of my favorite recipes! YUM.
