All plastics and silicon used in the manufacture of Lékué products are very easy to clean. This can be done by hand with a neutral soap, without using abrasives.

A dishwasher is only recommended if it can be programmed at temperatures that do not exceed those specified on the individual product's packaging and if they are placed on the top shelf of the dishwasher, unless they are products made from SBS plastic, in which case they are not suitable for dishwashers.

I have always made popcorn the traditional way on the stovetop until now. I was amazed at how good the popcorn is with this popper, in spite of using much less oil. (I use 1-2 Tbls truffle flavored olive oil) Cleanup is much easier! no more heavy oily pan to wash, and I love how this smooshes down flat to fit in a cupboard. Highly recommend if you want to use less oil and reduce calories but don't have room for an electric popper.
